To solve this I ordered a XLR y-splitter cable but soon enough this raised the question whether my mic will be damaged if it received 2x 48V phantom power, parallel or serial.įor some reason I kept thinking it's more of a driver issue as the computer is easily eable to take only the left channel as mono signal. Unfortunately I did not realize upon purchasing but there is also no stereo/mono button on this model. Recently got the UMC202HD and as many people experienced, my microphone only has a signal on the left channel since the second input is outputting to the right channel.
